Most of our concerts take place in Brecon Cathedral.
At a committee meeting via Zoom on 22nd July the members were unanimous in their determination to hold an event in September.
Subject to Government guidelines and logisitics being possible we are hoping to stage a concert given by principal or past principal players with the orchestra Laurence and Elliott Kempton, violins, James Drummond, viola and Sonia Hammond, cello. The programme is likely to be quartets by Mozart, Borodin and Dvorak.
At the moment a number of venues are being considered but in any event the audience numbers will be seriously restricted, it is likely to be outside and the audience would have to be pre-booked.
Please keep the date in your diaries.

This event remains in the calendar for the moment but whether it takes place in this format with this programme will depend on the Covid-19 situation. At the moment there is no guidance from the Welsh Government but this will change, probably more than once and we will review what is possible as we can.
Please keep the date in your diaries as we are committed to staging an event in accordance with government guidlines.
